Google Maps Platform

Google Maps Platform is a suite of APIs and SDKs that allow developers to integrate Google Maps into mobile apps and web pages, as well as retrieve data from Google Maps for use in their products or for business purposes and applications that suites your needs.

Google Maps Provide a variety of API and SDK that cover three categories: Map, Place, and Routes.

Usage is tracked for each Product SKU in the billing summary for Google Maps Platform products. The SKU is made up of the Product API and the service or function it refers to for example Places API - Place Details/Geocoding.

In summary, multiple SKUs for the same product may be billed at various prices (for example, Places API - Place Details; Places API - Autocomplete - Per Request).

SKU price is divided into three tiers based on volume of use: 0–100,000; 100,001–500,000; and 500,001+. The cost is estimated by multiplying the number of SKUs used by the price per use.

The amount of requests you can make to Google Maps Platform products has no maximum daily limit, and the only usage restrictions are related to the maximum number of inquiries per second (QPS). Developers who have a free Google Maps API key can use the API. Although the API is not completely free, most customers can get $200 in free monthly usage. The pricing adapts to match your specific requirements, and you are only paid for the time you spend using the API.
