How many versions of Google Workspace For Education are available?

Google Workspace for Education provides Education Fundamentals free of charge to all qualifying institutions (free). Google also has a subscription edition with Education Standard, Teaching and Learning Upgrade, and Education Plus available for consumers that want more premium features.

What is the price of Google Workspace For Education's various editions?

All qualifying institutions can use Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals for no cost. There are three premium editions: Education Standard, Teaching and Learning Upgrade, and Education Plus.

What variations exist in storage across editions?

For schools shared among institutions, 100 TB of storage is offered in all versions. Depending on the number of licenses acquired, additional storage is offered for the Teaching and Learning Upgrade and Education Plus editions.

Can I have multiple editions at once?

Depending on the preferred edition mix, it varies.

To upgrade to another edition, you must first hold the Education Fundamentals edition (Education Standard, Teaching and Learning Upgrade, or Education Plus).

Only Education Fundamentals is compatible with Education Plus, Education Standard, or Teaching and Learning Upgrade.

Education Standard and Teaching and Learning Upgrade can be combined at the same time. While we think Education Plus can get the most out of the many combinations of these editions, we also wanted to offer flexible solutions to meet the needs of the school community.

Can I change editions and downgrade or upgrade?

Google Workspace for Education's paid versions are all annual subscriptions, and the cost is fixed throughout that time.

Customers who purchase the Teaching and Learning Upgrade have the option to upgrade to Education Plus at any time by adding Education Standard (and vice versa).

At the conclusion of the subscription month, customers have the option to downgrade or renew their subscription.

Can schools who already use G Suite Enterprise For Education get all of Google Workspace For Education Plus's most recent features?

Yes, the new features and capabilities added to the new edition of Google Workspace for Education will be available to all customers who have purchased G Suite Enterprise for Education.

Can I test Google Workspace For Education's premium version?

Yes, the 60-day trials of Education Plus, Education Standard, and Teaching and Learning Upgrade are available from authorized Google Workspace for Education partners. There are 50 trial licenses available.

How long is a paid subscription to Google Workspace For Education?

Google Workspace for Education's paid versions are all offered as annual subscriptions, with prices remaining fixed for the duration of the subscription. However, as an alternative to buying it as an annual subscription, institutions can now buy the Teaching and Learning Upgrade on a monthly basis.
